Henkoly Solar Geyser - Solar Company in KrugersdorpIn a community project that displays the growing sense of social responsibility within Gauteng, Henkoly Solar Geysers, situated in Factoria, Krugersdorp, and Exotic Warehouse partnered up to donate a 100 litre low pressure solar water heater to the Light Centre for Children with Disabilities.

Founded in February 2013, the Light Centre has been caring for children with disabilities between the ages of 18 months and 10 years. “We aim to identify their potential and then refer them to special schools once they have reached school going age.” Glenny Marubini, spokesperson for the centre, continues to say that the addition of a brand new solar geyser will make a big difference at the centre.  “The new solar geyser will make such a difference in the lives of our children.” Said Glenny Marubini, as the installers were busy setting up the donated solar water heater. “This donation will help ensure a reduced electrical bill and free up funds for further projects around the centre.”

This is the second venture in which Henkoly Solar Geysers offered a friendly, helping hand to uplift the local West Rand community. “Community is at the heart of our business.” Says Hannes Smith, Director of Henkoly Solar Geysers. By developing and encouraging the use of green, sustainable and affordable energy solutions, the West Rand community can expect a lot more when businesses like Henkoly Solar Geysers and Exotic Warehouse team up together.
